"Traveling (in Oct) with the goal of staying in Cuchara and fishing Blue lake and Bear lake the next morning, we made a call and reserved two rooms. Each room had a queen bed, bathroom
with shower, and another double bed and single bed allowing up to 5 adults to stay. Our room had a balcony overlooking the brook. It was peaceful. Our hostess, Gaylene was welcoming and
prepared a delicious breakfast the next morning. We enjoyed our overnight stay and would love to return with more family to enjoy the home for several days. "

"We stayed here a week ago and cannot say enough good things! Cuchara is such a little gem in a part of Colorado that we have not really visited before. We live south of Denver and it only
took around 2 hours to get there. Gaylene was such an awesome host with great food and hospitality. Our dogs loved it too! Beautiful location in a mountain valley right on the Cucharas River.
