Policies for Cucharas River Bed and Breakfast

Terms & Conditions

Our property has a policy of no smoking. The designated smoking area is outside of the fence in the parking area or on the street. If you are found to be in violation of this, you will be assessed a $200 fee.

Pet Policy: There will be a $25 pet fee per stay. There is a maximum of 2 dogs per room. Dogs may not be left unattended in the house and must always be on a leash outside. If you’re traveling with a pet besides a dog, feel free to call for special arrangements.

Check-in time is 3:00 pm. We will be happy to check you in early if your room is available. Check out time is 10:00 am.

Our hours are 8 am to 8 pm Sunday through Saturday. Please let us know ahead of time if you will be arriving after we are closed. Arrangements will be made to process your check in before your arrival and your key will be left for you.

Free parking and complimentary breakfast are available to all our overnight guests.

All guest rooms are located on the first and second floor. There is no elevator and no bellhop. Please pack accordingly.

No hourly rates available.

No cash accepted onsite.

Items left behind and requested to be mailed will incur a minimum charge of $10 and may take up to 30 days to receive. We apologize for any inconvenience. To avoid this, please be sure to thoroughly check your room for items that are of value to you prior to your departure.

We reserve the right to charge for any damage to or removal of items from the premises and/or unusual cleaning.

Damaged or missing items from rooms post check out will be charged to your security deposit on file. These include but are not limited to remote controls, bathrobes, linens, pillows, mugs, room key, books, etc., Please inquire if you have any questions or concerns about this policy

Pet Policy

We're happy to welcome your well behaved dogs. There will be a $25.00 pet fee per stay. Since we are a bed and breakfast with shared common spaces, there are a few rules to ensure that all of our guests have an enjoyable experience:

• Pets may not be left unattended in guest rooms or in vehicles in the parking area.
• Pets are only allowed to walk thru the living room to access guest rooms, but otherwise are not allowed in the common spaces of the inside of the Inn.
• All pets must be on a hand-held leash while outside or walking thru the house.
• All pet waste must be cleaned up promptly and placed into the dumpster in the street (lock code is provided).
• Owners are responsible for ensuring their pets are current on all vaccinations.
• Any aggressive or disruptive behavior may result in calls to animal control and the immediate cancellation of your reservation with no refund.

Payment Policy

All stays require a 50% non-refundable deposit at booking.

The remaining 50% payment will be charged 7 days prior to arrival.
